[:1]I do arena as frost with some friends, usually 2v2ing with a disc priest or a rogue, and doing 3s with same disc priest and another arcane mage. My question is: How do I put some control on a resto druid that's just pillaring me like a champion?
Occasionally I'll have the same problem vs. other healer classes, but I just kind of accept that sometimes I get outplayed. But with resto druids I just can't seem to lock them down when they're doing the pillar dance. Any suggestions or strats to offer up?
well since u wont be sheeping good druids ure left with deep -> ring and cs to cc the druid. Alternatively you can kite his dps away from the pillar forcing him to come off the pillar to get in range of his dps and heal and you can have your arcane mage pom sheep him or your priest fear him. You as mages shouldnt be dieing to teams with resto druid healers though. You can spell steal life bloom stacks and hots to keep yourself up.
I admit I haven't tried it but several people told me that spellstealing lifebloom made it explode and do the instant dispel heal which seemed like a bad idea to me. I'll give it a shot. Just have had a hard time keeping them in the deep-ring combo, and like you said sheep is a no go if they're half decent. Guess I'll tell our priest to drag the dps away as far as possible.
Thanks for the input.
