PvP Advice (60+)

This has 2 parts that I would like answered: 85 Battlegrounds, and Level 60, 70 Battlegrounds

So after noticing the nerfs to frost, is it still a safe bet to play frost for both 85 and low level?

If not, what would be the more damaging PvP spec, Arcane or Fire?

Right now at level 60 I'm looking for a burst and sustained damage and mobility. Frost has been fun to PvP with but I just saw an 85 arcane mage hitting 30k's with arcane blast and basically !!%##* the hell out of everyone in Tol Borad. I was just wondering if I was doing it wrong staying with frost at these levels or if I should invest in respeccing. Please help a new mage out and thank you for your opinions.
PS: Forum Noob here, what is the difference if your post is sticky or not? Lol

Any hoo, the specs at level 60 are really different at level 85.

At our level, Arcane is a good pvp spec, but you don't have a lot of burst unless you get lucky with your procs, It's a great back-of-the-line-pewpewing spec at our level.

Frost isn't really that good at 60. You just don't see the numbers unless you're at 85. I switched to fire from frost cuz I felt like all I was doing was slowing down the guy :(.

Fire, for me is the best. We have decent burst and we can move while casting. So we always have sustained damage. Sadly, you don't have that many choices to get away from your enemies.

I might switch to arcane for PvP, but having the missile graphic pop up every 3 sec is annoying to me >.<

P.S. A sticky is a forum post that can be beneficial for other players. Mostly stickies are a must read, or guides that will help people out, therefore they are always on top so everyoen can see them.
Lol, Frost is really strong at the lvl 60ish levels. Line up a real shatter combo and they are gone. (in my experiences anyways)

But from personal preference I went Fire, I just like the feel of it.

Lol well all I really do at level 60 is usually quest and PvP que at the same time. I saw arcane's damage in Hellfire Ramparts and my mana was going down pretty fast. But arcane i feel is like, one button.

Fire i haven't really tried yet, but i've seen good fire mages burn my rogue down.

And frost, i feel is so much of a noob spec because honestly imo, its like a three button spec. Frostbolt, cone of cold, ice lance. I'm not sure but I like arcane so far. It hits about 1/3 of my own HP after two stacks of arcane blast.
