Leveling through PvP with a Mage

Is Arcane good for PvP? Or should I go frost. TBH I'm having fun with Arcane but I'm not sure if there's a better alternative.
If you have fun in arcane then go arcane however im lvling pretty much exclusively in bgs i have a full lvl 60 pvp set and i basically pet nova-fb-il-il and can deal between 6-12k dmg with those 4 moves frost is extremely faceroll up until lvl 81-84ish (my mage is only lvl 65)

however since i pvp mostly at 85 i know what mages can do at lvl 85 frost has fairly high survivability but after around lvl 82ish it seems frost dmg becomes very lackluster

So long story short imho frost far out plays arcane after around lvl 43 ish (when u can proc 2 fof with pet freeze) but its not about whats more faceroll honestly if you have fun playing arcane their is no point changing unless you just want the "Experience" playing multiple specs for multiple classes

Depends on the level of your Mage.

Arcane has very great burst tell around level 30.

I would switch to Frost once you're able to put 3 points in FoF.

Be prepared to get recked by Hunters through out Pvping though...
I leveled as arcane and frost in bgs, I will tell you that when I switched to frost level 50+ I laughed at all arcane mages I encountered. They are utterly useless against frost mages and hunters. Facing other classes, they are a little better.

Go with frost. Seriously, frost is really good at level 85, it is omgwtfbbq broken level 74 and below. The only class I had any slight difficulty with was a MM hunter. Silencing shot paired with full heirloom gear = insane damage on a clothie.
