One thing i noticed was the shields for mages. There amazing! I do love how the shields have saved my but very many times in pvp/pve encounters.
One thing i noticed is that the mana shield. I think its exteremly underpowered. Half of a hit from a mob and the shield is gone. I believe it to be slightly unfair. I personally like arcane in pve/ and fire pvp. Those two classes dont have much protecting them with being a clothie user.
What do you ppl think?
You do know Mana Shield drains 1.5x mana per damage absorbed, right?
It drains 1 mana per damage.

It hasn't drained 1.5 since Wrath, when it didn't have a cooldown.
Either way, though it doesn't absorb much damage, it helps in certain situations.
Yes it helps in certain situations, but what i am getting at is this.
Take this for example (happened to me continually last night) your in warsong gultch, and just murdering everything in front of you. Then a dk/war comes and kills you. Solely because mages that are not frost die almost instantaneously against most melee class. Sure you can try and blink away/death grip/charge. Ok then try invisability, (insert random aoe spell). Ice Block, rouge sits in wait.
Im not trying to sound like im QQing. I am just saying mages dont have much surviability when in a confrontation compared to all other classes.
Mages are amazing, otherwise i would have stopped playing a long ago.
