Any help is apprechiated!

[:1]ok, so i have a lvl 65 frost mage and i mostly play battlegrounds alot and ive noticed my damage is pure sh!t! i have decent gear for my level and im decent playing my class, but i get wtf facerolled because of my low damage, can anyone tell me what i can do better/look at my armory or somthing because im tired of only critting 1.7k and getting hit 5k+ i get like 2 shotted by most hunters my level its really pissing me off.
